Who am I? About Me
Hello, my name is Vlad Paulet and I am a teen nature photographer from Romania. I am specialized in nature photography, but I also shoot other genres such as event and portrait photography. For my event photography portfolio you can check: COMING SOON. I have been passionate about photography from an early age. If I saw something interesting, I always wanted to photograph it. I grew up with a love for nature and always preferred spending most of my time walking in forests or hiking. Later on I merged both my passion for nature and photography.
Through my photos, my goal is to make people aware of the beauty of our planet and to encourage them to spend more of their time in nature. Very often, humans don’t even know what they are destroying, so it is our job as a nature photographers to show them, in order to protect, conserve and respect the nature surrounding us. My images show magical moments, in a light or weather conditions that highlight the whole splendor of the subject.
In present, I am working at the Mud Volcanoes Project which is made to show the magneficence of a very special place with a highly touristic potential. Mud Volcanoes are located in Buzau county, where I was born. The gas from the underground combined with mud and water makes its way to the surface creating these interesting geological formations, unique in Europe. I photographed them at many angles, in different weather conditions including the northern lights from May 2024 which were seen in many places on the globe. As the years passed, my images really showed the beauty of the nature and were published and awarded:
